PITTSBURGH, Aug. 9– GlobalPOPs, a Pittsburgh-based wholesale dial-up provider, today announced the promotions of Dan Ravenstahl to President. As President, Ravenstahl is responsible for the long-term profitability of GlobalPOPs by providing effective growth strategies and overseeing efficient operations.
Ravenstahl joined the company in 1999 as a controller. As a result of his work ethic and knowledge he has become a significant value to the company.
Before joining GlobalPOPs, Dan obtained a B.A. in Accounting from Robert Morris University, graduating Cum Laude. He then gained two years of public accounting experience and was controller for a non-profit organization prior to his experience with GlobalPOPs. As a result of his work ethic and knowledge he has been able to provide significant value to ABG Capital, which provided him the opportunity to become President of GlobalPOPs.
“Promoting Dan to President of GlobalPOPs was a very easy decision to make. Dan has been with us for over 10 years, through the good times and the bad times,” said ABG Capital CEO Jeff Tapolci. “He has been involved in GlobalPOPs since its inception, and he knows GlobalPOPs from both the accounting and business side which makes him a natural fit as the President.”
ABG Capital is the parent company of GlobalPOPs. ABG Capital funds, manages, and helps to grow early stage business ideas and recognizes that funding alone cannot jumpstart a successful business.
